CHARTER

(defining the form of choir)

1. The Motto of Choir will be read during the annual meeting of choir.

2. The election of committees of the following year will be held on July/ August.

3. After the election, the new committees will run the choir guided by the previous committees

4. A choir member will receive a certificate of merit before he/she ends his/her study in this school.

5. Intake of new members:
(a) The intake of new member is open mainly to Form1 and Form2 students on January / February through audition
(b) The second/third intake of new choir members can be done anytime if necessary.
(c) Choir conductor and chairman will carry out the audition. This will be guided by teacher advisor / Instructor.
(d) English Pronunciation, singing, rhythm, and harmony will be evaluated during the audition.

6. Member Fees:
· Every member has to pay annual member fees RM4 per year to the Treasurer : RM 2 (Jan) + RM 2 (May)
· Extra fees will be collected if necessary.

7. Rules of choir :
(a) A choir member who absent TWICE within two months without giving reasonable excuse to the chairman, will be given WARNING without further notice

(b) A choir member who is LATE for THREE times without reasonable excuse will be considered ONE time of ABSENTICE

(c) A choir member will be EXPELLED without notice if he/she
(I) absent FOUR times within two months without reasonable excuse
(II) has discipline problem.

(d) No eating is allowed during the practice / rehearsal.

(e) A choir member must be punctual for each practice/rehearsal. This means a member should arrive 10 minutes before the meeting begins.

(f) A choir member must bring a holder with note, pen, and scores in it during the choir practice.
